I must be improving as I painted the coving above the stairs today. Occured to me the only way to reach it was to lean a step ladder from the top stair to the opposite wall. Jesus it's as close as I'll get to know what it's like climbing the Hilary Step on Everest. If the ladder had collapsed I would have been a goner. Didn't realise painters and decorators had to be stunt men as well!

Had a bloke work for me a few years ago who didn’t have English as a first language. He relied on spell check a lot.
Asked him to send a mail round to everyone about something that wasn’t working, apologising for the inconvenience. So obviously he sent an email apologising for the incontinence

I must have loads of shit tools .. Paint sprayers , drills , electric tool complete sets the lot.
None of the ferkers work properly.. I tell yah.
I tried to paint a door had flaking paint so I sanded it .. too much now I have a door with lots of patches all over it so I painted it now it looks like a painted door with lots of uneven patches all over it .

I’m so bad that I don’t even try to spell things correctly any longer, I just deliberately spell words incorrectly and spell check do its thing.
It is a lot less frustrating that way.
